Ludwig van Beethoven was one of the greatest composers of all time.  In this web quest, you will learn about his life, his music, and the influences of circumstances in his life.    

Beethoven's Life

Answer the following questions.  The websites listed after the questions will help you find the answers. Remember to use complete sentences when you write your answers.
 

1.  When was Beethoven born and when did he die?

2.  How old was Beethoven when he died?  (Do the math!!)

3.  What were the names of Beethoven's parents and siblings?  Tell about them.

4.  Beethoven gave his first concert when he was quite young.  Tell about the concert and remember to tell how old he was.

5.  While Beethoven was in his 20's he became afflicted with a disability?  Which disability was that?

6.  Why was this disability so difficult for a person in Beethoven's line of work?
